Year of Projects - Week 3

Some progress this week!!
The most exciting news is that I have finished my outfit-a-long - Yay!!  Here it is

Apologies for the appalling photos - I simply cannot take a good selfie!!
The skirt is Delphine by Tilly Walnes.  I actually finished this last week and have worn it to work.  The cardi is Myrna by Andi Satterlund.  I made a mistake with the arm but I couldn't face frogging it and carried on regardless with a bit of tweaking.  I don't think you can really tell unless you look closely.
I finished the second hat for Thomas's teacher (who is having twins) and now just need to make cards for her and the childminder - both of which we will be saying goodbye to this week.

I also finished a pair of socks for the stall.

I love them!!  They are made from Mellifera yarn cash sock in gingerbread and honey - they are so soft.
So today I am ready to do my first test knit - I shall cast on later and am quite excited.

In other news we have been growing up fast in our house - Daniel has decided he doesn't want nappies any more and Thomas lost his first tooth yesterday.  We begin our summer holiday on Wednesday and I literally cannot wait!!  My mum and dad are arriving on Tuesday for a few days before me and the boys head off to the west country for a week.

  1. I love your outfit, the cardigan is gorgeous.

My 5 year old is desperate to lose his first tooth. His older siblings have both been visited by the tooth fairy :)

  5. Love the little socks :)

Also, I have a little boy that is almost out of his diapers...almost...I don't quite trust him through the night or on long car rides but, generally speaking, he's done. Now, if I could just remind him to stop playing long enough to go potty, we'd be good :)

  10. I love your outfit, it's so gorgeous, well done on it and those hats are just gorgeous. I like the socks and I think they'll be a great item on the stall. We have lost first tooths a couple of weeks back and it's always so exciting for the children.

  11. Terrific garments. I like how you went for color. Yes, the babes do grow up fast, yeah? It's a somewhat miraculous thing losing teeth.

  12. Gorgeous cardigan, it's a great pattern isn't it! I've still got to photograph myself in the full outfit, but it's just too hot. My big girl has a very wobbly tooth at the moment, she can't wait to lose another one!
