I don't know about you, but I only think so. Last minute food shopping to do and the tiniest bit of wrapping, but otherwise we are there... I think!
I finished off all my commissions this week - 4 cafetiere and tea cosies and a pair of wristwarmers. All of which I failed to photograph, which is very unlike me!
Otherwise, I completed my last present - a bunny purse
And I made some progress on my second Raspberry Tart - I am at the sleeve separation - hurrah.
Otherwise, we are off to see the Penguins of Madagascar at the cinema in a moment. I rarely pay full price for the cinema but this time decided we could run to it. I really want to make Christmas magical this year for the boys after the past 2 years (2 years ago Daniel was in hospital with pneumonia and last year my mother in law passed away) and I know that doesn't mean spending lots of money, but since we are ok at the moment, I've got a couple of treats lined up - today the cinema and tomorrow the pantomine (actually quite excited myself!!)
Anyway hope all is well and I wish everyone a very Happy Christmas.
For more of the same visit our little group here.
Lovely sweater! I am trying to make this year special too... As last year our house was hit massively by the ice storm in toronto and we were not in our home for Christmas...
ReplyDeleteYou're not the only one that failed in the photography department this week. Join the club. LOL I am sure your children would be happy with any type of Christmas 'Magic" you did for them. Children are such wonderful gifts in themselves. Love the sweater and the purse is adorable. Good job.
ReplyDeleteLove that bunny purse....and sometimes you just need to treat yourself....I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday.
ReplyDeleteThe bunny coin purse is cute. Nice job on that. Love your gansey progress.
ReplyDeleteWell done on finishing up all your knitting and I wish you and your family a very merry Christmas. I hope you enjoyed the cinema and the pantomine, it sounds like fun.
