A Year of Projects Update - week 27

Happy New Year everybody!
I am a little late this week as I only traveled home yesterday.  As hoped I did finish a few things whilst away, so lets see how the start of a new year shapes up.
FO's
I finished Daniels candy cane socks in time for him to be able to wear them on Christmas day.
I also started and finished my Christmas eve cast on with Dani of Little bobbins.  I used the vintage fairy lights pattern and some yarn from Mothy and the squid in frosted holly.
WIP's
I have made progress on my sock club socks and now I am home I have cast on my top by Andi Satterlund - sunshower.  I am doing it for two KAL's - the self indulgent KAL by the Yarniacs podcast and the Andi Satterlund KAL with Katie of Inside Number 23.
On Ravelry, I have reorganised my queue (deleted all and started again) to reflect my YOP list, so I feel ready to start the year!

  1. Such cute Christmas socks!
Two KALs seems like a lot of pressure. Or a great way to stay on track!

  5. Oh, those candy cane socks are great! I imagine your son really enjoyed wearing them for Christmas. And your Vintage Fairy Lights looks pretty too. :) I'm amazed at how quickly you can knit up a pair of socks. I look forward to seeing everything you make this year. Happy New Year, Lucy!

  8. Wow! Love the Christmas socks...both pair! I have about 1/2 the leg done on sock #1 for the LB Christmas Eve Cast On...you put me to shame! LOL! I wanted to join the I#23 SATKAL but since I have not made a sweater...yet...I thought it might be a bit much for me but I did join the Harry Potter KAL she's also hosting. I need to update and clean out my YOP list, Ravelry and my blog! So much motivation at the start of the year. I only hope I can keep it going! I can't wait to see more of your sweater in that luscious yarn! Have a great first week of 2017 and Happy New Year!
