A Year of Projects Update - week 5

Just a quick update this week as I am currently at my mum and dads.   For those of you that have been in the group a while, you will know that I usually spend the summer going to car racing meetings (the British touring car championship). Obviously  this year is a bit different - it is starting today behind closed doors and is on the TV.   So we will be watching all day!
I have made some progress this week and have brought 3 projects with me.
I am moving down the sleeves now and hope to finish this today.
I have done a little on the socks.
And I've done some on the shawl.
And that is all for this week!  Have a good and safe week.

  1. Oh that's exciting how close you are to finishing breathing space. Joyful socks. Have a good virtual non touring touring car experience. 😉

  2. Nice progress! I wish I could visit with my Mom - but not this summer with all the travel restrictions...

  3. I am not a shawl type, but I really like yours!
I used to follow F1 racing, but when they took it behind a paywall I stopped - I had never heard about the BTCC until your post, so glad to have learned something new!

  7. All three of your projects look great. Hope you are enjoying your stay at your parents. Too bad you can not go to the races in person. At least they are televising them.

  10. lovely that you get to spend time with your family. Enjoy the races. I am not much for sports but I don't understand racing at all. Tho my coworkers daughters race and have since they were very young.

  11. That sock yarn is pretty. What yarn is it? I love getting to the sleeves on a sweater, it means it's almost finished. It's a great feeling. Can't want to see yours completed!
