A Year of Projects Update - week 6

I'm writing this a bit later today,  but I have good reason!

Firstly, I really wanted to finish my skirt.   This I did, this morning.

It needs a really good block to straighten it out and sort out the hem, but otherwise it is done.  I hope to model later in the week.

When I had completed that, I wanted to sort through my sewing pile and cut out a few new projects. Well in doing so, I discovered all of these...

This is a pile of Sewing WIP's!  Most are cut ready, so tomorrow I am going to have a full sewing day, and see how many I can complete.  There are at least 9 here! I will report back next week.

And that as you can imagine is all my progress.  We visited my mum last week and so I leave you with a few snaps from the week.

  5. Love the skirt!! Orange always puts me in an autumn frame of mind; I'm guessing this skirt will be perfect.
Cutting is my LEAST favorite part about sewing, so its awesome that you have a bunch of projects started where the hard part is already done!!
I'm excited to see what you come up with.
