Wow, this week has flown by. I have got a reasonable amount done.
I have a few FO's this week!
I completed the Christmas crackers that I wrote about here.
I am going to make a couple more as presents.
I also finished my first Christmas present this week - one of Sew Sweet Violet - wondrous washmitts. Only another six to go!
And I also sewed myself a skirt, but I didn't photograph it - I shall for next week.
Otherwise, I cast on anx have made great progress on Saknes for the latest Pompom magazine.
I am really hoping to get to the joining the back and two fronts today (I only have half of ond front to go). I am using Malabrigo rios in Frank Ochre.
I have yet to cast on my Christmas socks! But maybe this week... we will see, I am back to school, so will not have the time really.
Anyway, hope everyone has a great week.
WOW that's some busy knitting on top of teaching!! Your sweater looks great.
ReplyDeleteYou really did do a lot this week. The crackers are so cute and will make sweet gifts. The wash mitt will also make a great gift for Christmas. Sakness is a super cute pattern. Like the color you have chosen for it too.
ReplyDeleteThe crackers are so cute....genius idea! Look at you go with the sweater knitting! You always amaze me. I love the wash mitt and you made yourself a skirt too? Wonder Woman! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYou are rocking your christmas projects. I am sure the christmas socks will be on the needles very soon.
ReplyDeleteYour crackers are BRILLIANT!! Family fun for years to come. I also really love the bath mitts, they look very useful. Easier to clean than a loofah, easier to secure for scrubbing than a washcloth!
ReplyDeleteAnd the Frank Ochre colorway makes my heart sing... that is going to be one beautiful sweater!
I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
