A Year of Projects Update - week 20

It's been a dreary week here in Southern England!  We have had lots of rain and a bit of wind.  I'm not complaining, it could be much worse, it's just dreary!

I haven't done much other than work and a bit of knitting.  Oh and yesterday I had my covid and flu shots so am feeling a bit sorry for myself!

All my projects are coming along, but they still feel a way off.

Tegna now just needs sleeves.   But it is more of a spring - summer garment so I've left it until See you There is finished.

Not the best picture, but it is dreary!

Speaking of See You There, I have made progress and am about to split off for the sleeves and body.

I'm knitting this in de Rerum Natura gilliatt and it is speeding along.  I would really like to be able to wear this, this year so this is my main project at the moment.

Thar said, I would like to have a gift finished soon as well.   It's not for Xmas or birthday,  so no actual deadline but it would be nice to gift them soon.  Maybe next week 😉

And that is it for this week, I hope everyone is well and has a great week.

  1. I don’t recognise the yarn name, what fibre is that? The cable detail on the front is very pretty.

    1. It’s Liz by the way…some days it works and others it doesn’t weird.

    2. Itone I have used a lot - it is 100 % French merino wool. It is nice and soft (but not too soft) and is very bouncy (I'm not sure if that means it is woolen or worsted spun). It's lovely and I use it a lot - it is also not too expensive.

  2. Your See You There is moving along quite well. Cables are my all time favorite on any knitted item. They add such interest. Tegna is going to be fabulous for spring. Have a great week.

  3. Wow, See You There is just gorgeous! How beautiful. I would definitely put off the spring Tegna to get See You There done.

  4. I don't blame you for wanting to put the Spring item down since winter is fast approaching. See You There is so pretty. T he cables are lovely and so is the color. I love rain and storms but ours are always at night so I don't get to enjoy the coziness of staying in and listening to it. I hope you have a good week ahead.
