I have had a lovely week! It started with a day trip to Somerset. The day went very well, I just wish I had taken more photos, but I was a bit worried about the charge on my phone! I am going back at the end of March so will do more then! I also got to go to Knepp which is an area near us that has been allowed to go back to nature - they don't farm it but allow, dear, cattle and pigs to roam freely. There are also several walks that you can do, so me and my friend did the 5 mile one. If was somewhat muddy - I shall put photos at the end.
I have made good progress again on my Elsk dress. I am making my way up the skirt and into the body.
I am using some leftover yarns and John Arbon Textiles for the main colour.
I have also run up a small scarf!
This is my third as I love them! I am not keeping them all myself, I am now making them for work colleagues for next Christmas!
And that is all on the crafting front. I will finish with photos of Knepp.

5 mile walk. Good for you. Looks like a great place for a walk. I really need to make the effort to go to our local parks for walks. We have a terrific park system so I have no excuses!! Your dress is going to be amazing. I've only owned one knit dress. Originally it went just below my knees. Now it hangs down to my ankles. It needs to be donated in the hopes it fits someone tall and relatively thin.
ReplyDeleteThe little scarf is a perfect accessory. Your dress is moving along quickly. You have some lovely nature areas to walk through. I am a bit jealous. I have a concrete jungle around me.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is stunning. I love the color selections.
ReplyDeleteThat looks a lovely area to visit. Also check out that sunshine and blue skies! Still waiting for days like that here. Your dress is really knitting up quickly it seems. I am intrigued what sort of sleeves it will eventually have, I shall resist looking it up on Ravelry and wait for the reveal here in the coming months. Liz (Highlandheffalump)
