Well, considering I returned to school this week, I have been quite productive! I completed another dishcloth and continued with the first crocodile scarf.
This is the start I have made to the Amy Miller KAL. Not done much on this and the next one should be out today, so am feeling a little behind at the moment. This week, however, I should be able to make it my priority.
Have finished Little Gradient - made a couple of little mistakes, but nothing that couldn't be disguised! I'm very pleased with this as a first sweater.
Gone KAL crazy this week - not only am I signed up for the Morticia KAL and currently working on the Amy Miller KAL, I have also signed up for a dishcloth KAL with yarn attic. My theory is that I need dishcloths for presents anyway, so I may as well add a little more pressure to help me get them done!
On a totally different note, I have completed the rose part of my brother's wedding cake. Now just need to make the cake and finish it off.
Here's to another productive week!
I love the sweater, it's amazing for a first one! And it looks like it fits perfectly.
ReplyDeleteSome fab knitting, especially the sweater........the dishcloth KAL sounds interesting.
ReplyDeletethat's an excellent sweater, first or otherwise! go you :)
ReplyDeleteGreat looking sweater and cloth and the KAL looks fab. Beautiful roses.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the sweater!
ReplyDeleteThe Gradient is really nice. You have some terrific WIPs on the needles. I love the blues of that fingerless mitts set.
ReplyDeleteYou must be Superwoman! LOL! The sweater is darling and you did a great job. I love the alligator scarf for sure and looks like the mystery KAL is coming along. I should join a dishcloth KAL as I have many to make for Christmas and gifts. The roses are beautiful and I wouldn't know where to begin. What talent you have! Do you freeze them then to keep them until you put them on the cake? I have not a clue about decorating a cake nor can I even frost one decently. Have a very productive week as it seems you always do!
ReplyDeleteYou've got a ton done. I think I remarked on Friday how gorgeous your gradient is! I'm all about joining KALs to add pressure. For me, it's socks I need for Christmas gifts so it all works out!
