A Year of Projects Update - week 51

I am getting increasing excited about my new list!  I have ideas flying around I am finding it hard to concentrate on anything else!  If you are interested in joining us and want to start at the start of July, then head over to the group on Ravelry and join up.  Erin has come up with some great banners as always - thank you, Erin - I just need to choose which I will use.
A quick weather update - it is blazing sunshine here.  I am not a heat person but I am not complaining, although as a country not use to the heat we have no air conditioning - I am constantly sweaty (TMI - sorry).

FO's
I have two.  These were going to be a gift knit and a pair for Thomas, however, I think they will be too small for the recipient, so I have given them to Daniel.
WIP's
Breathing Space is coming along, but looks no different - so will report back in July when I shall hopefully, nearly be done.
I have a HO.
These are my June socks - which are Hermiones everyday socks knit in a stranded dyeworks sockblank in flamingo legs.

I also cast on some shorty socks out of leftover yarn - I think both yarns are by the Knitting Goddess.
And that is it for this week.  I will be back next week with my round up post and then I shall be presenting next year's list - hurrah!

  1. I can't imagine no air conditioning, but then I live in a desert so it's a staple in our homes. Nice FOs this week. I love the Hermione sock and the yarn is great. Good idea on using up the yarn scraps too.

  2. It seems like alot of us are knitting socks right now. I love how the dyed yarn is coming out on your Hermione. I wish I had your issue with the heat. It is so cold and rainy here - and it is June!!! Where is the sun!

  3. Ack! I just hate knitting wool socks with sweaty fingers. I hope your needles are slippery!

    Love the stripe-y socks!

  4. I'm a bit fascinated that air conditioning isn't as common in the UK as it is in the US. I guess being surrounded by all that water keeps your country much more temperate than our large land mass. I love getting these glimpses into your world - anyone's world that is different from mine. :) I know better than to do so, but still I take so much for granted.
