A Year of Projects Update - Week 25

After the week of mitts, this week seems quite disappointing!  But I am so close to finishing two more projects.
I have  completed one sleeve on Rugged coat and am half way through the second sleeve.
I thought the end of the strictly sockalong was last night during the final of strictly come dancing, but it isn't until early January.  In which case I have ages to finish my strictly socks!  Having said that I would like to get both of these off the needles by the end of the week.
I also started a pair of socks with my advent minis.  I am using all of the variegated and speckled ones and saving the solids for heels and toes.
On Friday, we are travelling to visit my mum and dad for Christmas.  I would really like to take some new projects with me, hence my wanting to finish off some projects!
I hope everyone has a great week, click the link to the right to check out the rest of the group.

    1. I can't wait to get it on, especially now the weather is right. The advent comes from Little French Meadow.

  2. Your Rugged Coat is smashing! It looks just perfect to cuddle up in to stay toasty warm. Two pair of socks on the go! I am impressed. The one using the minis is really cute and what a great way to make sure they match. Have a lovely and safe trip.

  3. You have a cute selection of stitch markers on the sleeves. Perhaps aim for the socks to be done before the Christmas Day strictly special. I’m very happy Stacey won and did pause progress on my hat for the final. Where did you get your advent from? I like the idea of a sock weight minis advent.

  4. I have possibly got too many stitch markers ... is that possible? I got my advent from Little french meadow.

  5. Rugged is amazing and is soooo close to being finished. You'll surely have it and the socks done this week and be able to wear them over Xmas with your Mum and Dad. Looking forward to seeing what the projects are that you bring to be worked on.

  6. Socks do take more time than mitts --but they also use up more yarn!
    I love your advent socks.
