I completely missed last week. I lost track of time and by the time I realised it was too late!
Anyway I am good this week. We have been back homeschooling and me remote teaching so it is easier to track time.
I haven't done a whole lot of knitting and I'm not totally sure why but that is not the end of the world.
I have made great progress on Stonecrop.
I am using John Arbon devonia and am just finishing the waistband then the sleeves to do.
I haven't done any sewing but the weather is not looking as nice at the end of next week so I'm hoping the break out the machine then.
Because the weather has been lovely, both me and my husband have spent some time in the garden. He has built a veg bed.
I have planted out lots of seeds into the greenhouse.
Early this week I hope to get out and sort the patio.
I have also been doing a lot of cooking and baking. We had a lovely salmon, quinoa and black bean dish in the week and Mexican meatballs today.
Also baked both an orange and a chocolate cake today - no pics of these but take my word for it!
It's quite a quiet week at school this coming week but I have lots of marking and we are starting to prepare our year 11s for their A levels - so I will be kept busy.
Hope everyone has a good week and stays safe.

A Year of Projects Update - week 41
Week 41/week 4 of lockdown and I have completely lost track of time!
I am writing this on Monday as I forgot yesterday.
Ihave two (almost) finished objects today.
Firstly I finished Like a Cloud. I knit this in a combination of lace yarn from Blacker yarn and a mohair from Homespun Wonders.
It is genuinely like a cloud! I need to block it but then will have some modelled shots.
I also started and finished a project from Jooles at Sew Sweet Violet - this is her soap mitt. I have finished one as you can see and I want to do at least one more so I can alternate!
I have also started back on my Stonecrop and making some progress, but it is pretty slow going
There isn't a lot of other news - I made a chocolate Easter cake
And dug over a patch of the garden!

A Year of Projects Update - week 40
Again I haven't accomplished that much on the crafting front, but I'm hoping that will change this coming week
I am plodding along with Like a cloud and now have completed one sleeve.
Please excuse the photo this week, I didn't take one until the evening.
It is a lovely project and I see myself finishing this this week - I hope!
I haven't even picked up any other project but have a few plans.
I have been doing some baking and here is a selection.
Here is what is left of: chocolate crispies, banana loaf, iced biscuits and rhubarb and lemon flan. All, I can report were lovely!
It's the easter holiday here now, not that it makes much difference! Only difference is that I don't have to balance three lessons at once.
We are going to catch up with some lessons we fell behind with, keep up with our PE with Joe Wickes and do some gardening. I have also signed up for a couple of free online courses, I am going to learn about art in the renaissance and sustainable fashion! Thought I might branch out!
And that is that for this week. Stay safe everyone.
