A Year of Projects Update - week 16

I'm a bit later today!  I've been very productive with my chores, but not so much with my knitting this week.

The only knitting I've done is making my way down the first sleeve of my Joy Cardigan.

And that is it!

Last week I went for a walk with my friends and my knee held out well (grant you, I wore a support and used my walking poles!)  We walked for 9 miles and it was glorious!

We have one more week until the midterm break and, as usual, I can't wait!!  I'm going back to see dad and a few friends, but otherwise,  the week is my own!  Anyway, there is a week of school first, so can't get too excited yet!

I hope everyone has a great week 😊

  1. WOW!! 9 miles. That's a lot of walking!! Have to chuckle. In the US, fall break is a 3 day weekend. I wish the US would adopt the more "year round" school year that Europe uses. But I think teachers in the US like the 3 month summer break.

  3. 9 miles?!? I don’t blame you for wearing the brace and using the poles. Safety first! Sounds like a wonderful break is coming up.

  4. Wow, I'm not sure I could walk 9 miles and my knees work fine. It looks beautiful though. I love the little mushrooms! I love autumn so much. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
