A Year of Projects Update - week 32

Slowly making my way through January!  It's been quite busy as always!  We're doing various exams at school and it was my eldest's 18th birthday this last week.  I've still managed to do a few bits!

I finished my latest pair of Stephen West socks - the Windschief socks.

I knit these with some West Yorkshire  Spinners Christmas yarn from years ago!  They are lovely and sparkly.

I also bought yarn and cast on a small hood having seen one of my coworkers with one earlier in the week.  The yarn is Malabrigo.

I'm nearly done so I'm really hoping I have enough yarn!!

I have managed to get out into the garden a bit over the past few weeks,  just tidying at the moment as most things die back,  except the brambles that I have been tackling.

We have been watching the Traitors and I am becoming obsessed with Claudia's wardrobe!  So that might determine some of the things I will make now.

I'm hoping to finish the hood today,  so then will spend time on my other projects.

I hope everyone has a great week. 😊

  1. The hood sounds interesting, I hope that will be modelled when it’s finished so we can see how it sits. I managed to resist watching traitors, I get too wound up watching reality type shows, I am best watching detective dramas 😂 Seems I have missed out on Claudia’s wardrobe though but I am sure I can find some pics online to have a look. Your eldest is 18! Wow time is flying isn’t it. Shows how long I’ve been following you. Liz (Highlandheffalump)
