Yarn Along

Have had a lovely long Bank Holiday weekend - we didn't do too much but it was just nice to spend time together.

I finished Abate this week, so now have a pair!!

I'm making good progress on my stripey socks - onto the second now minus heel.

And am making my way down the second sleeve of Aiken.

I'm being really strict with myself to finish one of these before I CO another.  I really want to CO Rhombing Around, and I want to CO a vest, but not sure which one, and I want......!

I've been inspired to read a little more, as I read these blogs, so am currently reading The Secret Life of Bees - recommended from a Yarn Along blog.  The problem I have is that when I do a midweek post I like to read and comment on all the other blogs, and then I don't have enough time to read!!  I have compromised with doing a post every 2 weeks - will see how this strategy goes!!

  2. So many pretty projects. I especially like stripey socks. It's so much fun to see what strip comes next. They practically fly off the needles!

  6. I haven't read that book, it looks lovely. Another one to add to my ever growing book list 😊. I love your projects, you must be a true knitter with more than one project on the go lol.

  7. I read and reviewed that book, as we read The Invention of Wings, by Sue Monk Kidd and that was a super book. Here is a link to my book review blog if you're interested: http://thatbritishwomansbookreviewblog.blogspot.ca/
