Year of Projects Update - PPP

Progress, progress, progress (the PPP!)
I have made lots of progress this week, but no FO's :-(
Never mind!  I have made progress on my poncho for Lily

Am up to the 17th Loop of Miss Winkle - wanted to be at 20, but 17 will do!!  Might reach 20 by the end of the day.

I have made 3 more glasses cases and a medium purse.

And have made progress on my pins:
The bunting is ready for letters and top stitching

And I have measured myself to cut the fabric for my skirt.

So despite neither of these being finished, I feel I am ready for 2 new pins.  I have gone for these:

The first I'm going to achieve today, hopefully, as the colours for some cupcakes I'm making for a sale.  The second is a bit hopeful, but I should be able to make small steps towards it over the next few weeks.

Next week is the start of the British Touring car championship at Brands Hatch which we will be partaking in (watching it that is!), so will not be updating, but hopefully, will be able to bring you some photos and FO's the week after.
Hope you all have a lovely week!

  5. The poncho is going to be darling and I love the Miss Winkle. I think there is definitely going to be a shawl on my next YOP list. I've dropped the ball on the pins this week as we had a long distance family reunion of sorts with lots of calls and long chats. I got little done around here at all but it was nice to catch up with everyone. I love your dress although I don't wear them anymore and the bunting is so sweet. I can't wait to see that finished. You've inspired me to get back to my pins although one whole board is devoted to "cleaning" with many Spring cleaning pins and there's taxes and paperwork which is not a "pin" lol! Have a great week.

  6. Such a lovely colorful post! You made amazing progress, both in the knitting area as the pinterest-pins area! The bunting is looking pretty and the poncho is sooo cute!!! I wish that my sewing skills were up to your level so I could join you in the dress-making! I'm now following you on Pinterest too!

    1. Thank you, I'm pleased with the progress. Although, I'm not sure as to whether my sewing skills are up to the same standard as my aspirations!
