A Year of Projects Update - week 25

This time next week we will be at mum's so will see if I can update, but I may be a bit late.  This week has been filled with festive comings and goings.  We went to the panto this weekend as well as seeing both boys Christmas productions.  Will add a pic at the end.

WIP's
I have made much progress on both of my advent cast ons.  It's actually got to the point now where I think I will cast off.  I am going to switch around 17 and 18 so that I finish on some speckled yarn.  So I hope to finish tomorrow.

I have also made much progress on my Tchaikovsky mitts.  So much so I am hopeful I can finish these today.
I have made no progress on Thomas's jumper or my mum's socks, but I am hoping with the completion of these three projects I can make good progress on these.

I hope everyone has a brilliant week, I shall leave you with some pics of our week.

  1. I love your cowl. I could knit a ton of these. You can get such different effects by choosing different colors. I'm knitting the hat to match your mitts!

  2. You have done so much knitting despite all the Christmas events. Good on you! I went to a Panto last week as well. They are so much fun!

  3. Good luck on getting everything done. I like the color of those mitts. Your mom's socks are very pretty. Love that pattern.

  4. The blue of those Tschaikovsky mitts is gorgeous! And both advent projects are so colourful! Sounds like you're going to have a bunch of WIPs wrapped up before Christmas :) Maybe Santa will bring you a gift certificate for your LYS to start off the New Year with new projects?

Re: the font... I find that sometimes the font size is wonky if Blogger thinks some of it is meant to be a caption for a photo. As a last ditch fix sometimes I cut the small copy, paste it at the end of the correct size paragraph above it. Also, sometimes selecting the copy and clicking the "Tx" button to remove formatting helps. And of course some days nothing seems to help ;(
