A Year of Projects Update - week 21

And we get another week closer to December!  We have lots of plans for the month not least Christmas plays and carols.
I have finished both hats for the mystery kal.

I really enjoyed this - mystery kals sometimes scare me but this one was wonderful and the finished object(s) are lovely.   I have already worn the blue one and am pleased to report it is not bothersome around the face at all.  I thought it might be but isn't.  I knit the blue ond in a combination of eden cottage and some old Rowan alpaca cotton.  The reddy one is knit in some malabrigo that has also been in stash for some time.
I have made progress on the sleeves of sock arms.   I am getting on ok with one sleeve so I think I will start the other to prevent second sleeve syndrome.
So we are about to go and make some more bread.  I hope everyone has a great week.

  1. Daniel is on quite a 'roll' with the bread making, huh. The jumper is so cute and love the self striping sleeves. It really sets it off. Your hats are pretty. Love the patterning in them. December! Say it isn't so.

  3. The pattern detail really shines on the blue version, it looks lovely. The other hat is lovely autumnal colours. Now they look like fun sock arms, I can’t wait to see it finished.

  5. Those hats are lovely and how great that Daniel is making bread. I've made my own for years and it gets to be second nature after awhile plus there is no end to the variety! King Arthur's website has wonderful resources and recipes.
Your sweater is so cute with the colorful sleeves! Yes, Christmas is here again! Enjoy your week!
