A Year of Projects Update - week 46

I thought I'd start with an apology!  I never intended to take such a hiatus, it just happened that way.  I can't say I've been particularly busy!  We did go to see some of the touring car racing, but otherwise it's just been life!

I have started and finished a small project in that time.   These are the Tatara arm warmers from Brooklyn Tweed.

Someone I follow on Instagram test knit them and I fell in love with them.   It's not the right season but they are winter ready!!
I have also finished the ?March socks from Stephen West.
I love them and still have them on now!  I have forgotten how to do Kitchener stitch!  I thought it was like riding a bike but clearly you can forget!  I can't be bothered at the moment to look up the start  but when I do I will be fine again - for the time being I will improvise!!
And that is it - I have started my next Stdphen West socks- these will be another great stashbuster!
I really hope to make it back next week as it is the start of our half term break -  so I shall keep my fingers crossed!!
I hope everyone is OK and has a lovely week. 😊

  2. WOW, love your Steven West socks. Unfortunately, I have soooo many sock patterns I can't really justify buying more. Hope you have wonderful mid-term break. Here it's the end of the school year. My son only has two days left to teach. Then he's off until mid-August. Gotta love the US's horrendous education system. "No Child Left Behind" means you dumb down the curriculum to the point students "graduate" high school with grade school reading and math skills. So very sad for our present and future.

  3. Stephen certainly is one of the most creative designers out there. Must keep the knitting so interesting with how he switches things up in his designs. Have a good half term break. Liz (Highlandheffalump)
