It's starting to get hot over here! This is not my preferred weather - I'm a knitter - I prefer winter!!
Anyway, I have done some knitting on my Stockholm Slipover.
This is a pattern by Petite Knit and I'm knitting it in Ard-thir by Kate Davies designs. I'm about to start my last skrin so hope I've get enough! I am on the finishing so crossed fingers 🤞
I've done a little on my socks, but mostly I've been trying to keep cool and prepping for next week's heatwave!
I've been trying to do some walking and managed to get some gardening in this morning before it got too hot, but still ended up sweating lots!

I did read that Europe is supposed to be unusually hot this summer although I had to laugh at 25C being hot. Maybe that was a typo. That's extremely mild for the US. I'm thankful the coming week is only going to get up to 28C. July and August will be 35C!!!
ReplyDelete25 was where we were, but this week it's 36/37 - I'm not looking forward to it! I feel for you in August - hopefully we have cooled down by then or I will have to take up residence in the supermarket, which is the only place with air con!!
DeleteI would swoon over 25C and even be happy with 35C. Isn't it funny how were we live makes a difference on what we can tolerate. We will be at 44C this coming week. Now, that, I am not looking forward to. Of course, everyone here has Air conditioning so It is tolerable.
