A Year of Projects - WIPs

This week has whizzed by - again!
Last weekend I managed to change the keyboard on my computer - I have been working with a lack of U and J keys!!  This has made a 'year of projects update' quite difficult!!  But now feeling qute proud that I managed it and it works!!
Continued with my mitts in Mellifera yarn - I have now finished one and have cast on the second.

Also cast on for a tank style top to wear to work.  I have chosen this camisole and am also knitting it with Mellifera yarn - sport in Cherry.  That means that if I finish them both in time I can enter them into her KAL winter warmers on Ravelry.

Finally, I succombed to some Fyberspates Vivacious in deep plum as it was 10% off!!  Shouldn't have, but have just taken payment for the wedding cake I am doing in March so thought I would treat myself!

Wednesday is my 5 year olds birthday and next Saturday we will be having a party (10 5/6 year olds in the house for a pirate party).  If I survive I will be back next week to tell of it!!
Have a good week :-)

  1. All your projects are lovely :) I would have bought that Fyberspates too, you can't miss a sale! It will be a gorgeous project :)

  2. I love the yarns chosen for your projects, especially the wrist warmers. I have never heard of the company before but I will have to check them out.

  3. What gorgeous yarns you have! I haven't heard of Fyberspates either but will look it up. You are brave...hope you have some help with that party! And I hope you survive.LOL! What a sweet age though....I have a 5 year old grandson and he's a delight. Happy Birthday to the little pirate.

  4. Love the mitts, I'm all about green and those are lovely. Good luck with the party.

  5. Such pretty yarns all around. I am especially in love with the Camisole yarn you are using. Can't wait to see it finished!

  6. Love the mitts and that tank is going to look great in the Cherry. Happy birthday to your little one it's such a fun age although 10 5/6 year olds is going to be fun I think can't wait to hear about it.

  7. That first mit is looking wonderful and I love the color of yarn you chose for your tank top! Can't wait to see how it progresses! Have a lovely time tomorrow!
