A Year of Projects Update - week 44
We're in the middle of a lovely long bank holiday weekend here. My husband took Thomas to London yesterday to see the football, so it was just me and the littlest boy!! We had a lovely, but busy day as Daniel planned it to the hilt!!
I did virtually no knitting yesterday, which is unheard of. But in the week I finished Abate - yay
Also finished the first sock - well, without the heel, but I want to do both of those together.
I also picked up the stitches for the first sleeve of Aiken, and am making my way down it!
Having finished Abate, I am desperate to CO a new project, but I must finish some WIPs first!

love your Abates :) I'm in the mood to cast on some new projects too. Problem is the thing I really want to cast on is a self designed sweater for DH but I'm putting it off as it's a lot of knitting and concentrating lol
ReplyDeleteThe sweater -- and the boy! -- are very cute. I am always amazed by people who can knit sweaters that fit!
ReplyDeleteThose sweaters are wonderful...

ReplyDeleteLooks like he's enjoying his new sweater! Nice colour on him too! Love the socks ... what's the pattern? I'm doing Vanilla Beans right now, and just trying to decide where to put the afterthought heel :)
ReplyDeleteThose are terrific bold colors for those new jumpers. It's always great to have one on one time with one of the babies.
ReplyDeleteAbate looks great! And Aiken too. I really like the patterned inset at the neck(throat)...and who does not like stripey socks :D
ReplyDeleteGreat looking sweaters! And even though kids get in the way of knitting sometimes... They are well worth it ;)
