A Year of Projects Update - week 6

I'm writing this a bit later today,  but I have good reason!

Firstly, I really wanted to finish my skirt.   This I did, this morning.

It needs a really good block to straighten it out and sort out the hem, but otherwise it is done.  I hope to model later in the week.

When I had completed that, I wanted to sort through my sewing pile and cut out a few new projects. Well in doing so, I discovered all of these...

This is a pile of Sewing WIP's!  Most are cut ready, so tomorrow I am going to have a full sewing day, and see how many I can complete.  There are at least 9 here! I will report back next week.

And that as you can imagine is all my progress.  We visited my mum last week and so I leave you with a few snaps from the week.

  1. Your skirt is super cute. Love those zig zag stripes on the bottom. You certainly have quite a few sewing projects to choose from. Will be fun to see what got done by next week.

  2. That skirt is adorable.
A whole day of sewing sounds heavenly!

  3. Great job on your skirt! Love the stripes.

  4. Your skirt is darling! It's going to be so cute on you. What a lovely surprise to fins those projects! Enjoy your sewing week and lovely photos!

  5. Love the skirt!! Orange always puts me in an autumn frame of mind; I'm guessing this skirt will be perfect.
Cutting is my LEAST favorite part about sewing, so its awesome that you have a bunch of projects started where the hard part is already done!!
I'm excited to see what you come up with.

  6. I love that skirt and such crisp lines. Look forward to hearing about your sewing day.

  7. Love the skirt. I was just commenting to Marsha how I love orange and gray together. Looking forward to seeing a modeled shot. :)

  8. Love that skirt! Looking forward to hearing about your sewing day.
