Year of Projects

Well this week I have made very little progress, or it seems as such!
I have worked almost exclusively on my cardigan, but it is still not finished!!  I have completed the arms and am now on to the neckband, but it runs all the way round so each row takes an age.  And, because it is stockinette it puts me to sleep!
So here it is at the moment - I will finish for next week!

Otherwise, I have done very little, just a few rows of my Christmas jumper on the way to a golf shop yesterday.
I am going to start thinking about my summing up post later as I will be doing my first craft fair on the Sunday.
Hope you all have a good week :-)

  2. Sleeves and finishing details take forever, don't they? I think that's why I'm always opting for 3/4 length sleeves :) Best to push through and finish it. Won't it be lovely to wear?!!

  4. I love that sweater/jumper!!! But I know what you mean as I was doing giraffe "legs" and was literally dozing off! LOL! Are you out of school for the Summer now? My daughter just had her last day Friday as she's a teacher here in the states. They had lots of snow days to make up this year.
I may have to quick sew some gifts as I'm not sure I can get this giraffe done and another one because wouldn't you know they are brothers so having 1 finished doesn't really help. LOL!
Good luck on your craft fair!!!

  6. Oh it looks amazing. I love it and can't wait to see the finished item. Good luck with the craft fair. Can I ask where it is? One of my sisters lives in West Sussex and may like to go to it...If she's not busy doing one of her bag making workshops.

    1. Thank you - it's finished and waiting for photographing! My first craft fair is at Tulleys Farm at Turners Hill on the 29th June. After that, I am at Crawley civic hall on the 5th July (this one is called the civic makery)
